Our Staff includes:
Elizabeth Sedano, Ph.D., Director. Dr. Sedano received her undergraduate training at Arizona State University and her graduate training at Northern Arizona University.
Dr. Sedano has 20 years of counseling experience. She is licensed in substance abuse treatment, domestic violence, hypnotherapy, EMDR, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Hypnotherapy, Neurotherapy, and certified as a sex offender treatment specialist. Dr. Sedano is fluent in Spanish.
Mosie Joseph, MD., Clinical Director. Dr. Joseph received his medical degree in December 1982 from the Universidad CETEC, Santo Domingo Republica Dominicana. His post Graduate Training includes a fellowship in Substance Abuse at the Department of Psychiatry PGY V, VI SUNY Health Sciences and Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.
His experience includes inpatient and outpatient chemical dependency and alcohol services, including detoxification and group psychotherapy. Dr. Joseph also speaks Spanish, French and Creole.
Rodolfo Delgado, MA, JD., Mr. Delgado has been with Omega Counseling for 16 years. He holds an MA degree and a JD degree. His experience includes substance abuse and domestic violence counseling, screening and case management. Mr. Delgado Speaks Spanish.
Flyn Hayes, LISAC. Ms. Hayes has 20 years experience in counseling. She is licensed in Substance Abuse, neurotherapy and Anger Management. Flyn has been with Omega for 13 years.
Cheryl Wheeler, MA, LAC. Ms. Wheeler has 5 years experience in counseling. Graduating with a masters degree in Professional Counseling from Argosy University, is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in counseling psychology through Capella University. Ms. Wheeler's experience includes providing mental health services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment for individuals, families, and groups. Specifically in the areas of: Individual counseling specializing in PTSD, childhood trauma, sexual abuse (adults and children). Relationship and co-parenting counseling, family counseling, and grief counseling. Group therapy addressing anger management and domestic violence for court ordered clients. Curriculum designed to review and implement family of origin, unmet needs, healthy decision making and improved communication skills.
Omega Counseling's staff includes two bilingual counselors and two bilingual (Spanish) staff members.
